This workshop will give an overview of how reach-out calls, sponsorship, special workers, outside literature, and the power of “self-diagnosis” can all help us move past the blocks that keep us from engaging in our own recovery.

Conference
Purpose

The purpose of the conference is to foster a vibrant, inclusive environment where we come together to celebrate belonging in all its forms. This event is a mosaic of workshops, speakers, food, fellowship and shared experiences that highlight the strength found in unity and the personal journey of recovery. We invite you to join us in this celebration, where you can find support in the community, affirm your individual identity, rediscover yourself and connect with our community.

Together, we are committed to service and collaboration. The SoCal Assembly integrates our efforts, helping us manage essential tasks such as service positions’ annual elections and budget planning for the upcoming year. The proceeds from the conference benefit both SoCal CoDA and the hosting community, enabling us to send delegates to the week-long CoDA service conference. This practice exemplifies our tradition of self-sufficiency and our dedication to an enduring sense of belonging across our community.
